Asian Geospatial Excellence Awards Geospatial Media and Communications is proud to announce the ‘Asia Geospatial Excellence Awards' for innovations, applications, policies and programs under the auspices of Asia Geospatial Forum 2012. These are premier private awards, commemorating the excellence and advancement in the field of geospatial technology and will be in the form of a trophy and certificate. PROCESS AND METHODOLOGY OF SELECTION The awardees shall be selected through a process as documented and time-lined below: Open call for submission by geospatial technology innovators and geospatial users. Individuals can suomoto submit nominations for projects they have known about or have been associated with in a prescribed format. The submission of the nominations shall be online The last date for submitting nominations is 31st July 2012 A Panel of Judges shall review the nominations. Final selection of awardees shall be based on total points (mean) given by all Judges. Awards shall be presented during the occasion of Asia Geospatial Forum 2012.
